I didn’t get to meet him, but as I promised yesterday, here is a picture of John Lloyd Cruz at the Swatch launch. I had to ‘shop it into grayscale because the original kind of sucks. He’s not my type (Jericho Rosales forever), but I think he’s a fantastic actor.

Anyway, any excuse to spend time with my super favorite Tita Virgie and Nanay Ramos is a good excuse. I sat with some very talented young people whose achievements make me feel so useless: 13-year-old Julia Abueva who is currently starring in Repertory Philippines’ The Fantasticks and Matteo Guidicelli, and had a lovely time. :)

And yes, even with my eyeliner on, people still think I look seventeen, tops. (Does that make me Edward Cullen if I’ve been seventeen for five years already?)
